The Family Division of the McLean County Circuit Clerk's office is located on the 4th floor of the McLean County Law & Justice Center. This division of the office is responsible for processing all dissolution of marriage, adoption, juvenile, paternity and child support cases. Civil Orders of Protection are also filed in this division. Adoption Records and all Juvenile case types are impounded pursuant to state law and are not public record.

The remaining case types are public record and may be inspected during regular business hours. Photocopies of court records are subject to the following fees per case:

$2.00 for the 1st page, .50 per page for the next 19 pages, then .25 per page thereafter. (These costs are established by State Statute). Certification of the document may be had upon request and is an additional $6.00 charge.

Computer printouts are available for Child Support/Maintenance histories. The cost for computer printouts is set at $4.00 per page.
