(More) 1/4/2010 - Picnic Shelter & Group Camp Reservations Now Being Accepted Reservations for Picnic Shelters at COMLARA Park and S.H. West Park are currently being accepted for 2010. Reservations can also be made for the Main Recreation Area (MRA) GROUP Camp and the White Oak (WO) GROUP Camp. To make a reservation please call the Park Visitor Center at (309) 726-2022, ext. 221. Family campsite reservations begin in-person April 3 and by phone & mail April 5. The Department does not designate any specific area(s) of the Lake as safe for this activity. Winter activities are always safer with a partner. Make sure someone knows where you are going and when you'll return. A good rule of Thumb is at least 4" of ice. (More)
