In order to obtain employment with any Court Services department in Illinois applicants shall:

1. Be a citizen of the United States,
   

2. Be a resident of the State of Illinois within 90 days of the date of his/her appointment,
   

3. Have obtained a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major course work in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, social work, or related social sciences.

The Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts (AOIC) must certify applicants. Applications for certification may be obtained from the Administrative Office at:
