Communicable Disease Programs

The Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Clinic provides confidential testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases: gonorrhea, syphilis, NGU (men), and chlamydia. For women, additional testing for trichomonas, bacterial vaginosis and yeast is provided. Appointments are required. However, walk-ins are accepted on Tuesday afternoons. Residency in McLean County is not required. A small fee is charged.


The Tuberculosis Care and Treatment Program
provides TB skin tests and facilitates diagnostic testing, medical consultation and treatment. Appointments are required.


Immunization services include the operation of an immunization clinic by appointment for children and residents entering college and flu and pneumonia shots by appointment at scheduled clinics for county residents who are senior citizens and/or have chronic diseases. Information regarding immunizations required for international travel is also offered.
