(309) 888-5481 The McLean County Health Department director is registrar for vital records in McLean County. As part of administering the Vital Records Act, the registrar maintains birth and death records for 10 years. After that time, records are maintained by the County Clerk. Certified copies of birth and death certificates can be obtained in person at the McLean County Health Department, Room 304. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
*In addition to the check or money order payment, individuals requesting a birth certificate must also provide a copy of a signed photo ID.
