Child Abuse Education and Prevention
Working with our community to educate one another about child abuse risk factors is part of our mission.  We are currently offering the Darkness to Light Child Sexual Abuse Prevention and Response Program, designed specifically for an adult audience.  This is a national program proven to increase knowledge regarding child sexual abuse and ways in which adults can protect children.  This 2.5 hour training course will be offered in 2017 in an attempt to teach the public regarding the warning signs of child abuse and ways to react responsibly in the "7 Steps to Protecting Our Children" program.

2017 Darkness to Light Training Classes will be held at the Children's Advocacy Center located at 200 W. Front Street, Room 500-E, Bloomington, IL, 61701.  Call (309) 888-5656 to reserve your spot.  Reservations REQUIRED.
