Juvenile Extended Day Program
About the Program
The Juvenile Extended Day Program (EDP) is designed to be an alternative to detention and an orientation to youth sentenced to probation. Youth who are in the EDP are either court ordered to attend the program or placed in the program by their probation officer as a sanction for a violation of probation.
Targeting At-Risk Youths
EDP is designed to target at-risk juveniles during a high-risk time frame. Juveniles in the program report directly after school. Services provided include, but are not limited to:
- Cognitive behavioral programming
- Community service
- Life skills
