McLean County Detention Facility Visiting Hours
The visiting hours for the facility are based upon the housing location of the inmate within the facility itself. The older section, or linear section, of the facility will have different visiting hours for the female and male population. The direct supervision section maintains the same visiting hours for both male and female inmates.

Parking
The 24-hour public entrance to the Detention Center, located at 104 West Front Street, is on the southwest side of the building. Parking is available on-street, or the City of Bloomington parking deck is available for an hourly fee (as posted).

Frequency of Visits
For inmates housed in the old section, two 15-minute visits are allowed per week (with only one visit allowed per visiting day).

For inmates housed in the direct supervision / female open unit, three 30-minute visits are allowed per week.

Please note: Visiting will not be conducted between the following hours seven days a week: 11:00 am - 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, and 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
