The McLean County State’s Attorney’s
Office is responsible for the prosecution of McLean County’s most
dangerous criminals. With our talented and dedicated staff and the help
of our local police departments, we are able to aid in enforcing the law
and punishing criminals. We also help and advise victims of crimes by
providing advocacy for our citizens. Our job is not simply to gain convictions
but to seek justice. Our Special units provide aid for victims of crime, domestic abuse and crimes against children. We have highly trained staff to help with your most important needs. We depend on the support of citizens to make our efforts succeed. Whether those efforts are in the courtroom where we depend on witnesses and jurors, or in the county boardroom where our local democratic government process depends heavily on citizen awareness and participation. We recognize the need for your assistance in meeting the demands of public service. |
