ATTENTION:  Due to COVID-19 related issues, there have been some changes to the Filing Dates and Signature Requirements for Independent and New Party Candidates wishing to file for Candidacy for the General Election:

The results for Ballot Position Lottery, held on May 1, 2020 at 11:00 am:

  • 1st - Libertarian
  • 2nd - Democratic
  • 3rd - Republican

March 24 - First day to circulate nomination papers for Independent Candidates and New Political Party Candidates

July 13-July 20, 2020 - Filing period for New Party and Independent Candidates.
