Accident Investigation Team

Sgt. Jon Hofmann serves as the AI Team Coordinator. He and his team assist the patrol division and other agencies (upon request) with processing the scene of serious motor vehicle accidents. Deputies assigned to this unit receive specialized training and most frequently respond to the following: 

1. All fatal accidents

2. All serious personal injury accidents involving injuries likely to result in death  

Other situations as directed by policy.
