Under Illinois Compiled Statues, the Financial Duties of McLean County, Illinois are divided between three offices, the County Auditor, County Treasurer, and County Administration. County Administration is responsible for the preparation and presentation of an annual budget to the County Board. The County Auditor is responsible for the preparation of the County’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) in conjunction with the Treasurer, Quarterly Financial Reports, and the all new Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).
