Illinois Court Help - A free service of the Illinois Courts
Connect to the information you need to go to court
You call or text 833-411-1121 to connect with a trained court guide who can provide up-to-date Illinois court information and answers to specific questions about the court process. Illinois Court Help guides will also connect people to the resources they need to go to court, from filing forms to accessing legal aid. Initial hours of operation are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, with expanded hours to come over the next few months.

For protective orders
Neville House/Mid Central Community Action (Countering Domestic Violence Services) and Prairie State Legal Services are still available during the COVID-19 shelter-in-place to advocate for those experiencing domestic violence and courts are still open for protective orders. Hours are 8:30am -4:30pm, Monday–Friday, except for court holidays and court closures.
